Every Adult Education program is in the process of developing career pathways.
There are sixteen career clusters:
Working with the Upper Savannah Council of Governments, Piedmont Technical College, and other partners, Laurens County Adult Education has developed its first career pathway: Advanced Manufacturing. There are multiple entry and exit points in the career pathway. Our Transition Specialist talks with new students about this career pathway during orientation. Other career pathways will developed over time. Pathways are developed based on job availability predictions and needs of local employers.
